Girls and Boys Birth year u9-u12 Season Programs
Southern Maine FC will provide diligent and professional soccer coaching for our under-12 age groups. Our focus will be on developing technical skills and maximizing the touches players get on the ball during training. Using futsal as a pathway to promote creativity in a fun atmosphere, players should emerge from the winter program more confident with the ball at their feet and emerging in their tactical understanding of movement off the ball. League play both on the turf in Gorham and in the MPL Futsal League will provide ample opportunities to take what is taught in training and apply it into gameplay.
In the Spring, we will join the Maine State Premier League for outdoor play. Players will enjoy utilizing their enhanced technical skills from futsal on the larger outdoor field. We will emphasize playing out of the back to build possession. Players will play all positions and learn tactical responsibilities, while also being given freedom to make their own decisions and choices without "over coaching" in the moment. Our teaching will be done best on the training ground, with the matches serving as an opportunity for players to show what they have learned.

Program Cost:
$950 per player (Birth Year 2016-2017) $1,375 per player (Birth Year 2015-2013) Scholarships and Payment Plans available as needed. -Includes 8 months of programs -Free Enrollment in Nov/Dec Futsal Programs -Enrollment in Hampton Indoor League (Winter) -Enrollment in Premier League (Spring) -Turf Access and all League Fees covered -One Tournament -Qualified professional coaching instruction REGISTRATION TO TRYOUT IS FREE* Scholarships and Payment Plans available as needed* |
