Southern Maine FC is thrilled to bring back our Fall FUTURES LEAGUE! We have a blast developing the skills of our youth soccer players her in Maine. We will have a Division for players 4 and 5 and another Division for players 6-8 years old. Each player will have a one hour practice each week designed around a specific soccer skill. On Fridays, we'll play in 4v4 or 5v5 games that will thrill parents and supporters!

SMFC FUTURES ACADEMY (Camps, clinics, and Developmental Programs)
Southern Maine FC provides soccer training programs for players as young a 3 years old, with introductory camps and clinics throughout the year. Our soccer training curriculum and sessions will be designed with a blend of expertise from our elementary school teachers on staff and our qualified coaching staff. Soccer training sessions and camps will be engaging and help players develop the gross motor skills needed to develop a strong foundation.
Our soccer camps for preschool and kindergartners will be based out of the Sanford and Kennebunk Fields and schools. The Sanford locations will help reach the Western Maine towns more efficiently, whereas the Kennebunk locations will make access convenient for players living along I-95.

WINTER Indoor Futsal

During the winter months, we will host futsal training sessions for 3-6 year olds. Futsal is a brand of soccer that is played indoors with a slightly weighted soccer ball. These sessions will remain small to ensure an effective coach to player ratio. Players will develop their comfort level on the ball by maximizing their touches and providing small-sided play of 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3.
Each indoor futsal program will run 4 weeks. One 45 minute training session per week and another "play date" of two 15-minute 3v3 games. There will be two 4-week programs per winter. |
